Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can you help me with my Firestorm?
A: I sure can! But that always happens via the official
Firestorm Support English. I can't offer to support in IM, because then I would never have time off.
Q: Do you make custom clothes?
A: Not really, no. But if you want a custom print for any clothes you've bought from my store, let's talk. Usually I can do that pretty easily and fast, and then I am happy to help, if it is for personal use. If it is for your venue, event, MC club or similar, then yes, we can look at bulk solutions. But reach out inworld. I check in daily, so notecards are not needed.
Q: Do you use AI when writing?
A: Yes, I do. But please continue to read, before you judge. I am not a published author. I don't have an editor and I don't earn any money on my books, so I could defend paying for an editor myself. That means, when I write, if I didn't edit it in some way, a lot of errors would sneak in. so my workflow includes the use of AI, but not for the creative part. How it works is that I write the book. I am the one who does the synopsis, I am the one who lays out the beats, I am the one who writes every word, paragraph and chapter. I
do use em dashes and en dashes in my writing. I did that even before I got the idea that I could crank my words through an AI before wrapping it up. The whole "Em dash means AI" thing is a laughing stock within the author community these days. Em dashes, en dashes and hyphens does different things in writing.
However, where I use AI is once it is all done, I paste paragraph for paragrah to the AI, after giving it a prompt along the lines of
"Please go through the paragraphs I will paste. Focus on flow and typos. Also highlight if any said phrases would be unnatural for someone like (insert the characteristics of my main protagonist)." and that's it. I don't let the AI ghost write for me, I don't let the AI decide the story arc or anything in the construction. It is all me, but "sanity checked" by AI, to make sure that I haven't left in errors that I am blind to. If that rubs you the wrong way, too bad. You can't get your money back on free stuff ;-)
